BLINK:
When Hazel Blinks he materializes into a grey almost white smoke and 'blinks' out of existence, he was re-appear a distance off from where he started, bringing with him another cloud of smoke where he re-appears.
* During the point where he is invisible, he is unable to take damage.
* It is impossible for him to be hit or detected.
* When he Blinks back into existence he keeps the momentum of which he left (speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out) and is able to build momentum while doing so.
* He is able to Blink short distances with little to no effort (going from one side of the room to the other).
* Hazel on the other hand has to focus and use quite a bit of energy in order to teleport his max distance which is 1 mile.
Hazel has limitations on his teleportation abilities:
Weight: Hazel is not able to carry items weighing more than 20lbs for more than 1/4th a mile. If he does so it will cause him extreme fatigue. As such carting another person is incredibly taxing on Hazel, and he needs a 'round' to recover from such a feat.
If he travels too far with too much weight added to him he will suffer from overexertion, usually in passing out, or in throwing up and bleeding from the nose; a thick black tar which will debilitate him for another 'round'
Distance: Hazel is only able to comfortably travel 1/4th a mile. He cannot push this limit yet
It he 'Chains' this and travels another 14th, and then another, by the third teleport he will be incredibly tired and fatigued. He will need a 'round' to recover.
He can on the other hand, as stated before chain smaller distances and NOT become fatigued.

ELECTRICITY:
Hazel is able to channel the electricity from his body and move it into a concentrated form, through his skin and outward. He usually needs a conductor in order to actually transfer it anywhere of use.
While the boy seems to always shock people he touches, more so when he's angry or excited, he can't seem to actually channel it into anything of use.
He is actively learning to train with a sword and conduct it into the blade so as to shock those he attacks, but these attempts have been unsuccessful.
The only reason it's know that Hazel possesses some electrical abilities is the fact that he is able to, on command, create static shocks in people and metal without fail.
EMPATHY/MENTAL RESISTANCE:
Hazel possesses an interesting ability to transfer emotion through song, much the same way a bard can, though these powers are less a total hijacking of someone's emotional autonomy and more a simple sway from anger to compliance, resistance to ambivalence.
This might strengthen over time the same with all the other abilities, but as it stands, Hazel's empathy simply embellishes the songs he sings.
On that note he seems to be incredibly resistant to mental magic. A spell that takes over and charms it's target or induces fear, seem to pass right through him with little to no effect. This goes for spoken magic as well as magical items. An enchanted mirror meant to enthrall him, will simply act as a normal mirror for Hazel.
All other magic seems to affect him without issue.

If it comes to blows between Hazel and your character I would almost always prefer using:
Dice/Coin Flip:
Before the post we both roll 1 D6
Whomever has the higher number lands the hit in the post that comes next.
If we both roll the same number it's a draw, the hit's are deflected or dodged.
Example:
Hazel gets 3
Your character gets 4
My next post has me taking whatever hit you wrote on me
I respond and we roll again
Hazel gets 6
Your character gets 1
Your next post has you taking whatever hit I wrote for you
You respond and we roll again
Hazel gets 3
Your character gets 3
My next post has me dodging whatever attack was made
You respond to doge whatever attack I made and we roll again
The same can be applies for a coin-flip if that makes it easier to not have impasses.
The reason I would almost ALWAYS prefer to do this is that no matter the outcome, there are no bitter feelings towards the player. Dice are randomly generated and therefore are almost a sure-fire way to have a fair outcome.
"Consent To" fighting is something I am willing to negotiate on.
I would prefer we talk about it OOC first though, and I would like to, if at all possible, like to determine the outcome of the fight before we actually roleplay it out.
Please whisper me and explain you'd like to have a fight in which your character wins, or in which Hazel wins, and any other details you want in the fight. What you will and won't consent to in the fight, and we'll engage afterwards
This, again, is a sure fire way that no one's feelings get hurt. While it might not seem as 'thrilling' I'd personally rather sacrifice cheap thrills for sour attitudes over any losses that might happen. We're building a narrative and story after all
PLEASE ASK ME
Before considering doing any massive harm to Hazel. Honestly if I'm asked before anything, including breaking bones, horns, scars, I will almost always consent to IF IM ASKED BEFORE HAND.
It's a little hard to take these things in stride when I have zero time to consider if this is something I want to have happen to my character.
This doesn't include smalls things like punching or kicking or anything that wouldn't cause severe damage. I'd say try and simply ask yourself "Would this seriously fuck a person up" and if the answer is yes, just ask before hand.
NEVER LIST
It means never.
If you attempt to kill my character I will take whatever IC actions I can to ensure that doesn't happen. If you decided to point a cannon point blank at Hazel's head, trust me when I say he'd show right up the next day alive regardless.
You can ask me, and we can work out a compromise but know that I will most likely NOT agree to the terms. -
